Arnold F. Rebout

Arnold F. Rebout, 65, of Kewanee, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, at his home. Arnold was born July 27, 1956, in Kewanee, the son of Peter and Shirley (Temple) Rebout. He graduated from Kewanee High School with the class of 1975. Arnold married Mary Currier on July 15, 2017, in Elmira Township; she survives.

Arnold is also survived by siblings, Bonnie Rebout, Stacy Rebout, Chuck Rebout, Annette (Harold) Darcangelo; three sons; two stepchildren, Becky (Ty) Palmer, Brian (Nikki) Schoutteet; and four grandchildren, Jacob, Ella, and Jase Palmer, and Colton Schoutteet. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arnold worked in maintenance for 37 1/2 years for OSF St. Luke's, Kewanee. He previously worked for Hyster and Pearson's, Galva. Arnold enjoyed camping and working on old cars. He was a jack of all trades. Arnold also enjoyed trail riding in the side-by-side with Mary and traveling with friends. He loved his dog, Lucy. Arnold especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. 

Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 30, 2022, at the funeral home. Deacon Michael Crummer will officiate. Memorials may be made to Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee or the Hog Capitol Wildlife Rescue and Rehab.
