Audrey E. Ptashnik

Audrey E. Ptashnik, 96, of Kewanee, IL died Monday, March 8, 2021. She was born July 14, 1924 in Knoxville, TN, the daughter of James and Alice (Freytag) Bright. Audrey married John Ptashnik on February 22, 1941 in MuscaPne, IA. He preceded her in death in 1992. Audrey is survived by one daughter, Marianne Stuckey, Geneseo, IL; son-in-law, Richard Ratliff, Cape Coral, FL; three granddaughters, Susan (Mike) McBride, Cape Coral, FL, Julie Bryan, Wimauma, FL, Lisa Bisschop, Green Lane, PA; one grandson, Richard (Kimberly) Stuckey; seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Christine Ratliff; five brothers and one sister. Audrey was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family. Audrey loved to tend to her plants and flowers in her garden. Graveside services will be Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Pleasant View Cemetery. Pastor Kevin Sisco will officiate.
