Barbara J. Morrison

Barbara J. Morrison, 80, of Kewanee, formerly of Sterling, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was born on June 12, 1945, the daughter of William Henry Thompson and June Alberta Blackert. She married Ronald G. Pease, who she shared two children with, they later divorced but remained friends. She married Charles R. Morrison on July 2, 1995, he preceded her in death on December 31, 2011.

Barbara is survived by two children, Jerry Pease, Sheffield, and Missie (Robert J. Aber) Emmert, Sheffield; and two granddaughters, Misti Reign Pease and Heaven Marie Pease. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

Family was very important to Barbara, she liked keeping in close contact with her children and helping them as much as she could.

In her younger years, Barbara worked as a housekeeper and as a CNA. Barbara was a very religious woman who enjoyed watching action movies, being outside, socializing, and going to rodeos and fairs.

Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am, Friday, March 6, 2026 at the Sheffield Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Christman will officiate. Online condolences may be left for Barbara’s family at www.golnickschuenemanfh.com.
