Brandon M. Evans, 24, of Clinton, formerly of Kewanee, died Sunday, August 20, 2023, in Whiteside County due to a motor vehicle accident. Brandon was born August 22, 1998, in Kewanee, the son of Mark Nichols and Monica Evans. Brandon attended Kewanee High School, graduating with the class of 2016. He enjoyed speech and drama classes.
Brandon is survived by his parents, Mark (Brenda) Nichols, Tampico; Monica Evans, Kewanee; daughter, Miley Evans; special friend, Kianna Culberson, Clinton; siblings, Melanie Nichols, Kewanee, Josh Stoner, Kewanee, Zack Hill, Kewanee, Kiarah Hodge, Tampico; step siblings, Jacob (Sadie) Robinder, Walnut, Wesley Cozad, Wyoming; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Blodgett, Kewanee; paternal grandfather, Bob Evans; paternal grandmother, RoxAnn Nichols, Sheffield; paternal grandfather, Michael (Susan) Nichols, Kewanee; uncles, Mike (Paula) Nichols, Kewanee, Caleb McMurray, Sheffield; aunts, Jessica Evans, Washington, IL, Nichole Evans, Kewanee, Ashley Evans, Kewanee, Amanda Evans, Kewanee, Shelynn Blodgett, Kewanee; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his step paternal grandfather, Fred McMurray.
Brandon worked as a mill operator at Timken Drives, Clinton. Brandon enjoyed floating on the river, golfing and frisbee golfing. Brandon loved the outdoors. He was an artist and was especially good at drawing. He also enjoyed music and hanging out with his friends. He was a Green Packer Fan.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Friday, August 25, 2023, at the funeral home. Pastor Andrew Christman will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family for an education fund for his daughter, Miley.
