Carol Dahl Obituary

Carol J. Dahl, 78, of Neponset, died Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at her daughter’s home, surrounded by family. Carol was born September 15, 1944, in Valley City, North Dakota, the daughter of Willard and Ellen (Vorland) Jantzen. Carol attended college for medical technology in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Carol married Cecil Dahl on October 30, 1966, in Kewanee; he preceded her in death on October 6, 2009.

Carol is survived by two daughters, Sally (Barry) Payne of Peoria, IL, Stacy (Tom) Belski of LaSalle, IL; six grandchildren, Jordan, Madeline, Jillian, Ethan, Nikolas, and Emerson; and one brother, Willard (Donna) Jantzen, Valley City, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

Carol worked at Kewanee Hospital as a Certified Medical Technologist for 30+ years. She was a member of the Women’s Club, Neponset. Carol enjoyed knitting hats and scarves for children in need. They were donated locally and through Christ Child Ministries in Peoria. She enjoyed using her gift of creativity through various crafts; such as needlepoint felting, and painting.
