Carolyn Teer

Carolyn L. Teer, 75, of Kewanee, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home. Carolyn was born on July 5, 1950, the daughter of Donald Davis and Alberta Varol (Ioder) Parsons. She attended high school in Ohio and graduated from Illinois Valley Community College, Oglesby as an RN. She married Michael Teer on June 11, 1994; he preceded her in death on October 22, 2006.

The beloved Carolyn Teer was a registered nurse for over 50 years, working for OSF, Perry Memorial, and Peterson Health Care and then continued her RN career as a traveling nurse.

She enjoyed shopping, puzzles, and reading. She was a Packers fan and watched Cubs baseball. Carolyn was also a collector, she collected salt and pepper shakers, turtle statues, rocks, lighthouses, and South-Western Art.

She leaves behind her daughter, Michelle Hendrickson; grandchildren, Nickole Walters, Kindra Crane, Tommy Smith, and Jersey Smith; great-grandchildren, Asher Walters, Hunter Walters, Xavria Speakman, and Benjamin James Smith; and many family friends.

Carolyn was a caring and dedicated loving person and best friend. She was the most loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother there ever was.
