Cheryl Lynes Obituary

Cheryl Lynes, 66, of Kewanee, died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at OSF St. Mary’s Medical Center, Galesburg. Cheryl was born July 7, 1957, in Morris, IL, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Harrod) Lynes. Cheryl graduated from Morris High School with the class of 1976.

Cheryl is survived by one brother, David (Candi) Lynes, Kewanee; nieces and nephews, Devon (Brittany) Gentry, Kirstyn Lynes, Cassidy Lynes, Isaac Lynes; and great nieces and nephews, Corbin Gentry and Rylynn Gentry. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; and an infant brother, Daniel.

During her younger years she was a home health assistant in Morris. Cheryl enjoyed the sweet treats that her brother would bring her. She also enjoyed watching tv, helping elderly people and visiting Arizona.
