Clarine E. Stevenson

Clarine E. Stevenson, 92, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at her home. Clarine was born March 18, 1929, in Kewanee, the daughter of Orville W. and Kathryn P. (Foster) Stevenson. She attended Wethersfield Schools. Clarine is survived by her brother, Dale (Beverly) Williams, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Yvonne (Harley) Barton, Wanda (Gene) Wallace; and a brother, Bill (Lorraine) Stevenson. Clarine did time studies for various manufacturing companies and worked as an actuary for an insurance company. She enjoyed boating, golfing and fast cars. She was a big supporter of the local teams and enjoyed watching all sports. She was in the 10,000-mile club at Wal-Mart. She especially loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Monday, January 31, 2022, at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at the funeral home. Masks are required. Pastor Terry Lancaster will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to OSF Hospice, or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
