Connie M. Goodrich

Connie M. Goodrich, 62, of Kewanee, died Friday, August 26, 2022, at Kewanee Care Home. Connie was born August 19, 1960, in Wheeling, Illinois, the daughter of Delbert C. and Beatrice J. (Whirtanen) Price. Connie married James M. Goodrich, on June 23, 1989, in Las Vegas, Nevada; he survives.

Connie is also survived by three daughters, Amber Goodrich, Las Vegas, NV, Melissa (Nicholas) Meade, Peoria, Jayme Goodrich (Anthony Nebinger), Kewanee; four grandchildren, Abigail Nebinger, Sophia Nebinger, David Nebinger, Ella Joy Meade; siblings, Annette (Jay) DeValkenaere, Kewanee, George Price, Taylorville, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Dale Price.

Connie worked at Kewanee Care Home for 24 years as a laundress. In Las Vegas she was a money keeper at the Mirage. She also worked as a laundress for Treasure Island. Connie enjoyed cooking split pea soup and Italian beef. She also enjoyed playing Solitaire on her phone. The people at Kewanee Care Home were her second family, she enjoyed the time she got to spend with them. Connie loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, September 17, 2022, at First United Methodist Church. Pastor John Hauck will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Please leave an online condolence for Connie’s family at www.golnickschuenemanfh.com.
