David Entas

David B. Entas, 74, of Kewanee, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria. David was born September 14, 1947, in Kewanee, the son of Benjamin and Emily (Sawickis) Entas. David graduated from Kewanee High School of 1967.David is survived by five children, Tracey (Thomas) Nelson, Batavia, IL, Benjamin (Claire) Entas, DeKalb, IL, Stephanie (Douglas) Michaelson, Waxhaw, NC, Lindsey Entas, Wheaton, IL, Erick (Mallory McGill) Entas, Aurora, IL; seven grandchildren, Emily, Grace, Abigail, Hunter, Sara, Jack, Leah; three siblings, Mary Currier, Naperville, IL, Larry (Gloria) Entas, Mendota, IL, and Kenneth (Laurie) Entas, Galva, IL. David was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Bob Currier.David served in the United States Army. David owned and operated a landscaping company, Lawn Mowing Express. David enjoyed being on the farm with his brothers, splitting firewood, gardening, and fishing. He enjoyed his friends at social clubs, especially Turners and Phoenix Club in Aurora. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed cheering on the Cubs and Blackhawks as well. David loved buying and selling at auctions. David especially loved spending time with his family. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Sunday, October 31, 2021, at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, November 1, 2021, at Saint John Paul II Catholic Church. Father Johndamaseni Zilimu and Father Christopher Magesa will con-celebrate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Military Rites will be accorded by the Kewanee Veterans Council. Memorials may be made to the Henry/Stark Health Department.
