David Charles Rouse

David Charles Rouse, 53, died peacefully at home on March 28, 2024. David was born in Kewanee on January 30, 1971, the son of Richard (Mary Jo) Rouse and Wendy (John) Earhart; they survive. David married Wendy Moews on June 27, 1998; she survives.

David is also survived by his loving daughters, Chloe Rouse and Carly Rouse; his brother, Philip (Shirley) Rouse; step-brother, TJ (Brittney) Dura; and a host of other family members.

David had a passion for supporting his family, particularly his daughters, whom he adored beyond measure. He found immense pride and happiness coaching and attending their sporting events and celebrating their academic achievements. David was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and found solace and excitement in watching PGA Golf Championships and the annual spectacle of The Masters.

David touched the hearts of all who knew him with his wit, sense of humor, kindness, and infectious smile.

There will be a private ceremony for the family will be Saturday, June 1, 2024. Memorials may be made to Richard L.
