Debbie S. Gregory

Debbie S. Gregory, 59, of Kewanee, formerly of East St. Louis, died Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by family. Debbie was born January 30, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Hayward J. "Cass" and Elizabeth F. (Emerson) Castiller. She graduated from Althoff Catholic High School, Belleville, IL, class of 1982. Debbie is survived by her daughter, Brittany (Matt Ensley) Pernell, Kewanee; brother, Sam (Chris) Castiller, Collinsville, IL; longtime companion, Art Thompson Jr., Kewanee; one grandson, Austin Pernell and one granddaughter, Alissa Ensley, Kewanee; nephews, Scott (Carey) Chapman, Sammy Castiller Jr. both of Troy, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Len Castiller.Debbie enjoyed working on puzzles, going to bingo, cooking or baking and she loved being with family, especially her grandchildren.Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
