Dolores Stout

Dolores R. Stout, 88, of Kewanee, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 24, 2022, at her home, surrounded by family. Dolores was born September 1, 1934, in Kewanee, the daughter of Raymond and Beulah (Farmer) DeKeyser. Dolores married Earl G. Stout on February 11, 1956, at St. Francis in Kewanee; he preceded her in death on May 29, 2019.

Dolores is survived by six children, Joe (Georganne) Stout, Kewanee, Jim (Kelley) Stout, Moline, Jeff Stout, Kewanee, Jackie (Brad) DeMay, Kewanee, Jon (Cindy) Stout, Kewanee, Jason Stout, Kewanee; eight grandchildren, Aaron (Lisa), Tad (Cassie), Tyvan (Chelsea), and Jeremy (Danielle) Stout, Jonathan (Chelsea) DeMay, Amanda (Paul) Clementz, Nicollet Winn and Alysha Winn; nine great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou (Robert) Moon, Kewanee. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Dolores was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching horror classic movies. She collected Dreamsicles, porcelain chickens and roosters. Dolores made the best homemade chocolate pie and pumpkin bars known to man. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Graveside services will be at 1:30 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Pleasant View Cemetery. Deacon Michael Crummer will officiate. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Please leave an online condolence for Dolores’ family at www.golnickschuenemanfh.com.
