Donald "Don" Robertson

Donald "Don" N. Robertson, 61, of Toulon, formerly of Galva, died Friday, April 1, 2022, at his home. Don was born February 15, 1961, in Los Angeles, Ca, the son of Rev. Byron and Donna (Edwards) Robertson. He graduated from Galva High School with the class of 1979. Don married Joy V. McDaniel on July 29, 1998, in Toulon; she survives. Don is also survived by his mother; two children, Renee (Tom Nelson) Johnson, Toulon, Charles (Rachel) Manning, Washburn, Il; grandson, Maverick Manning; siblings, Loraine Splear, Geneseo, Dawn (Rob) Bowman, Santa Cruse, Ca; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother-in-law, Sam Splear. Don worked in quality control with Elecsys Inc, Pekin. He worked for Bryton in West Jersey before Elecsys, Inc. Don was a diehard Cubs, Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He was on a pool and bowling league. He enjoyed fishing and camping at Hook and Bullet. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 12:00 pm, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the funeral home. Pastor Andrew Christman will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee.
