Donna J. Cullers

Donna J. Cullers, 93, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Kewanee Care. Donna was born March 4, 1928, in Mineral, Illinois, the daughter of Andrew and Florence (Andersen) Morgan. Donna married William "Bill" Cullers on February 14, 1943, in Kahoka, Missouri; he preceded her in death on June 16, 2005.Donna is survived by three children, Janet Currier, Edwards, IL, Kathy (Rodney) Derry, Kewanee, Robert "Rob" Cullers, Kewanee; grandchildren, Andrew Currier (Hollie Smith), Peoria, Amanda Currier, Pekin, Joseph (Lindsay) Derry, Toulon, Nathan Derry, Rock Island, four great grandchildren, Alexis, Wyatt, Jesse, and Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Willard Morgan; sister, Dorothy M. Brants-Gollnitz; and son-in-law, Daniel Currier.Donna worked in retail, having worked for A&P, Walworth, National Tea Company, Johnson's Dairy Store, Sears, K-Mart, Save - a - Lot, and Farm King; finally retiring when she was 80. She was a member of the Eastern Star #43, where she served three times as a Worthy Matron. Donna enjoyed baking and canning. She cooked a lot of dinners for the Masons, Shriners and Royal Arch. Donna was a girl scout leader and a room mother. She loved to crochet and sew. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.Order of the Eastern Star Service will be at 4:00 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Visitation will follow until 8:00 pm, Monday, July 19, 2021. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery, Annawan. Pastor Kevin Drane will officiate. Memorials may be made to Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee Henry County Senior Citizens Center or the Order of the Eastern Star, Geneseo.
