Flossie J. Huber

Flossie J. Huber, 104, of Kewanee, died Friday, October 15, 2021, at OSF St. Luke's Hospital. Flossie was born December 5, 1916, in Post Oak, IL, the daughter of John and Ada Mae (Rhodes) Grant. She married Marion "Hub" Huber, Jr. on April 5, 1947; he preceded her in death on January 30, 1998.Flossie is survived by two sons, Jerry Huber, Jeff (Diane) Huber; four daughters, Debbie Huber, Sherry Beard, Jackie Huber, Sandy (Duane) Quanstrom; nine grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Faye LeDuc. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and four sisters.Flossie was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Flossie enjoyed sewing, quilting, camping, and fishing. Visitation will be from 12:30 - 1:30 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the funeral home. Pastor Jon Vincent will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to donor's choice.
