Helen Haderer Obituary

Helen L. Haderer, 99, of Kewanee, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at Kewanee Care. Helen was born February 19, 1921 in Benton, IL, the daughter of Guy and Flora (Cook) Cole. Helen married Charles Haderer on November 6, 1943; he preceded her in death in 1965.Helen is survived by two daughters, Patricia Jurich, Kewanee, Jeanette (Bob) Cambron, Kewanee; two grandchildren, Angela Westover, Heather (Troy) Haga; and four great grandchildren, Graham and Stephanie Crain, Alexis and Taylor Haga; two half-brothers, John Richard (Laura) Cole, Guy (Judy) Cole, Jr.; three half-sisters, Phyllis Baine, Edna (Roy Lee) Hale, Eva Adams, all of Southern Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; sisters, Freda Watkins and Ruth Greenhagen.Helen was a member of the First Christian Church. She enjoyed church activities when she was younger. She was a Girl Scout Leader, and a room mother. Helen enjoyed gardening flowers and canning. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends.Graveside services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Pastor Brian Giese will officiate.
