James K. Hill

James K. Hill, 68, of Kewanee, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Hospital, Peoria. James was born November 4, 1952 in Kewanee, the son of John and Darlene (Davis) Hill. He was reared and educated in Kewanee Schools. James married Sherry Shambaugh on November 10, 1976 in Kewanee; she survives. James is also survived by his mother, Darlene; one brother, John Hill; three children, Lisa Hill (Josh Grant), Teresa (Billy) Powell; James Hill; seven grandchildren, Ryan Hicks, Andrew Carder, Christian Carder, Zachary Hill, Mackenzie Powell, Ayla Powell, Noah Floming; two step children, Tracy Dunn, Chad Ince; eight step grandchildren; seven great step grandchildren; and his beloved dogs, Bandit and Mojo. He was preceded in death by his father, John; and one brother in infancy.James was a truck driver for Pines and Knobloch Farms Trucking. His greatest joys in life were being with his wife, kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping and smoking food on the grill. He also enjoyed get togethers and his dogs. He was loved by so many people and will be greatly missed by his family and friends; more than he could ever imagine.Visitation will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the funeral home. Pastor John Reside will officiate.
