Jamie E. Hall, 68, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at her residence. Jamie was born November 4, 1954, in Kewanee, the daughter of Bill and Marie (Nelson) Peyer. Jamie attended Kewanee Schools, graduating with the class of 1972.
Jamie is survived by one niece, Jennifer (Chad) Hodges, Kewanee; one nephew, Joseph DeSmit, Kewanee; great nephew, Andrew DeSmit (Jessica Crockett), Bradford, and their children, Clara, Aidan, Evelynn; a great nephew, Jamieson; and brother-in-law, Philip DeSmit. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Ann Marie in infancy and Andre Marie DeSmit.
Jamie was an LPN at various places for 30+ years, in her later years she worked for Pines and Wal-Mart. She was an animal lover, especially her rescue, Shadow. Jamie was an avid Pepsi memorabilia collector and Dallas Cowboys fan. She was a loving aunt, sister, daughter, and a friend to many.
Per Jamie’s wishes there will be no public services. There will be a private burial at Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee. Please leave an online condolence for www.golnickschuenemanfh.com.
