Janet L. Ballentine

Janet L. Ballentine, of Toulon, IL, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. She was born in Kewanee, IL, the daughter of Russell H. McPheeters and Aldine M. Beard. She married Gary A. Ballentine on February 20, 1976 in Kewanee, IL, he survives.

Janet is survived by four children; Rodney (Carol) Kendall, Kewanee, IL, Ronald (DeAnn) Kendall, Kewanee, IL, Mark Ballentine, Normal, IL, and Lori (Kevin) Ogborn, Metamora, IL; four grandchildren, Shawn Kendall, Joshua (Page) Kendall, Zach Harmon, and Dalton Ogborn; three great-grandchildren; sister, Vicki (Mike) Mower; and two nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janet was a homemaker. She loved being at home and watching television.

Janet’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Hospice Compassus and especially the three angels who helped with such compassion and care, Chelsey, Nina, and Amanda, for they are truly angels.
