Jean Krumtinger Obituary

Jean L. Krumtinger, 88, died Saturday, July 16, 2022, Allure, Geneseo. Jean was born on May 9, 1934, in Kewanee, the daughter of Charles and Marie (Clauws) Engstrom. Jean married Robert “Tom” Krumtinger on November 15, 1952; he preceded her in death on February 27, 2018.

Jean is survived by son, Mark (Mary) Krumtinger, Chicago; two grandsons, Andrew Krumtinger, Chicago, Thomas Krumtinger, Chicago; two granddaughters, Kerri (Edward) Krumtinger-Waller, Orland Park, IL, Margaret (Anthony) Krumtinger-Schickel, Evergreen Park, IL; great grandchildren, Liam, Danny, Owen, and Carolyn. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan Marie; and husband, Tom.

Jean worked for Kewanee Boiler and OSF Health care; until retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Vincent DePauw Catholic Church, Peoria. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family.

A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, July 22, 2022, at Saint John Paul II Parish. Father Johndamaseni Zilimu will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please leave an online condolence for Jean’s family at www.golnickschuenemanfh.com.
