Joan Vujakovich

Joan Vujakovich, 88, of Kewanee, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Carle Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on December 23, 1934, in Kewanee, Illinois, as the daughter of Milan and Virginia (Germanovic) Vujakovich.

She is survived by a sister, Vivian Vranjes, of Kewanee; and a brother, Nickolas Vujakovich, of Kewanee; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and eight sisters.

Joan graduated from Kewanee High School. After High School she became a Nurses Aid at the old Kewanee Hospital for 25 years. Joan enjoyed watching college and NFL football with the Chicago Bears being her favorite team. She would always be so disappointed if the Chicago Bears lost a game. Joan always kept busy. In her free time, she enjoyed watching her movies on the TV, and completing word search puzzles.
