Joseph Gioioso Obituary

Joseph J. Gioioso, 59, of Kewanee, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2026, at his home. Joseph was born March 7, 1966, the son of Dr. Joseph V. Gioioso and Gaye P. Randall. He attended Downers Grove South High School, graduating with the class of 1985. Joseph also attended C.O.D. Community College in Chicago.

Joseph is survived by his mother; two sisters, Randy (Adam) Garcia, Palos Hills, IL, Danielle (Peter) Larsen, Naperville, IL; and a niece, Kayla (fiancé Chris Cannizo) Garcia, Palos Hills, IL. Joseph is preceded in death by his father.

Joseph worked as a handyman. He enjoyed putting models together and woodworking. He helped install Christmas lights at Windmont Park over the years.
