Joyce D. Turner

Joyce Turner, 86, of Kewanee, died Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Farmington Country Manor. Joyce was born October 12, 1935 in Kewanee, the daughter of Lester and Ada (Petty) Blair. She graduated from Wethersfield High School. Joyce married Jack Turner on November 29, 1952; he preceded her in death. Joyce is survived by son, Rick (Candy) Turner, Bartonville, IL; daughter, Christy (Mike) Radosevic, Dunlap, IL; and a daughter-in-law, Cindy Turner, Peoria, IL.  She was a most wonderful grandma to nine grandchildren, Justin (Angela) Turner, Bloomington, Jeremy, James and Richard Turner, Peoria, Amanda (Shane) Luttrell, East Peoria, Alyssa Radosevic, Pekin, Luka Radosevic, Dunlap, John Turner, Pekin, and Jennell (David) Manning, Bartonville. She was a loving great grandmother to 14, Kristin, Andrew, Jack, Kaylee, Addie, Cain, Dillon, Logan, Mya, Jazlyn, David Jr., Maverick, Brynlee, and Cora, and one due in January. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a son, Gary. Joyce worked in the nursery at the Kewanee Hospital and Proctor Hospital in Peoria. Her family will remember her always for her soft-spoken voice, patience, kindness, caring, laughter, encouragement, and never-ending love. Our family has been blessed by the best mother, wife, grandma, mother-in-law, and friend. We will miss you "Grandma Joyce". Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the funeral home. Pastor Roger Larson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
