Judy J. Aercke

Judith “Judy” J. Aercke, 82, of Kewanee, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025, at OSF St. Luke’s Medical Center, Kewanee. Judy was born March 13, 1943, in Kewanee, the daughter of Laurence and Madolynne (Colwell) Boling. Judy married James “Jim” C. Aercke on July 15, 1963, in Kewanee.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jim; her sister, Mary Jo; her brothers, Jim (Cheryl) Boling, John (Julie) Boling; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kim; and a sister, Dorothy.

For an impressive fifty years, Judy worked at People's National Bank, where her professionalism, integrity, and warm smile became a comforting presence for both colleagues and customers alike. Judy found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of nature, tending to her flowers, and spending time outdoors. Judy enjoyed the time she got to spend with Duke, her loyal canine companion.
