Linda M. (Majenski) Borota

Linda M. (Majenski) Borota, 76, of Kewanee, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oak Lawn, IL. She was born June 4, 1945, in Kewanee, the daughter of Joseph and Laura (Manthe) Majenski. She graduated from Kewanee High School with the class of 1963. Linda was married to Philip Borota, they later divorced; he preceded her in death in 2013.Linda is survived by two sons, Joe Majenski (Jeffrey Calso), Cathedral City, CA, and Chad (Christine) Borota, Moorhead, MN; three grandchildren, Drew, Titus, and Olivia Harvey; and cousins, Kathy (Bob) Hefner, Creve Coeur, IL, Ralph Manthe, Kewanee; and Erin Hefner, Creve Coeur, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother in infancy, Dean.Linda worked as a Librarian at Sheridan College in Wyoming and the president of the employees. Linda enjoyed caring for Ralph at Royal Oaks on a daily basis. She loved animals, primitive antiques, and gardening. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a prayer warrior. She especially loved spending time with her boys. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Church of Peace. Pastor Andrew Christman will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee Chapter.
