Lynn "Butch" E. Johnson

Lynn “Butch” E. Johnson, 76, of Kewanee, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025. Butch was born March 7, 1949, in Kewanee, the son of Lyndel and Phylis (Dailey) Johnson.

Butch is survived by five children, Jeremy Johnson, Josh Summerson, Teresa Johnson, Kristina Quinones, and Jacob Johnson; numerous grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Larry Johnson and Brenda Robinson.

Butch worked at Nuclear Power Plants all over Illinois as a pipefitter. Butch enjoyed riding motorcycles. He could also be found spending time outdoors enjoying wildlife, fishing and attending Native American Pow Wows. Time spent with his kids and grandchildren making memories was time well spent.
