Mark VerVynck

Mark VerVynck, 41, of Kewanee, died Monday, September 13, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. Mark was born June 1, 1980 in Kewanee, the son of Stanley and Cathy (King) VerVynck. Mark graduated from Kewanee High School. Mark married Trisha L. Reynolds on January 12, 2007 in Kewanee; she survives.Mark is also survived by his mother; four children, Tyler, Alexander, Kylie, and Halie VerVynck all of Kewanee; brother, Richard (Charli) Vela, Kewanee; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Clifford Holmes. He was preceded in death by his father; maternal and paternal grandparents; and a cousin, Tommy VerVynck.Mark was self-employed. He enjoyed playing pool and was on a pool league. Mark also enjoyed watching the races and loved driving race cars.Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, September 24, 2021 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. The funeral home will maintain compliance with COVID regulations and requires that all guests wear a mask for the safety of all those attending.
