Megan N. Eilts

Megan N. Eilts, 36, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Megan was born January 19, 1984 in Kirksville, MO, the daughter of Pamela Eilts. Megan graduated from Kewanee High School with the class of 2002.Megan is survived by her mother, Pamela Eilts, Kewanee; daughter, Adalynn Lee Eilts-Hipkins, Calamus, IA; brother, Tyler Eilts, Kewanee; and her grandfather, Elmer Eilts. She was preceded in death by her grandma, Ada M. Eilts.Megan owned and operated Megan's Day Care and enjoyed caring for the kids. She was a chair holder at the Henry-Stark Daycare Association. She also enjoyed helping others. Megan especially loved spending time with her daughter. She was a member of the Hill Church. Her and her daughter enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society and geocaching. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm, Monday, December 7, 2020 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Reverend William Darding will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service, Monday, December 7, 2020 at the funeral home. Masks are required, please observe social distancing recommendations. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for an Education Fund for her daughter, Adalynn or to the Kewanee Humane Society.
