Nancy Libby Obituary

Nancy A. Libby (Towne), 92, of Kewanee, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home in Kewanee is in charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours and no services. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Nancy was born June 23, 1930, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Gordon and Anna Mae (Argubright) Towne. She married Robert Libby on February 3, 1951, in Kewanee, IL. They had one daughter, Christine (David) Zapisek, Toulon; granddaughter, Maleigha (Allen) Dullin, Cambridge, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and one brother.

She enjoyed doing craft shows with her daughter and her granddaughter. She loved sewing, putting puzzles together and doing crossword puzzles.
