Nancy M. Miller

Nancy M. Miller, 77, of Kewanee, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House, Peoria. Nancy was born September 22, 1947, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of William E. and Marjorie M. (Brown) Keel. Nancy attended United Township High School. She later attended Black Hawk College graduating with an LPN certification. Nancy married Thomas E. Miller, Sr., they later divorced; he preceded her in death in November 1983. Nancy spent many years with her special friend, Jerry Ainley; he preceded her in death in April 2003.
Nancy is survived by four children, Timothy E. (Melissa) Miller, Kewanee, Thomas E. Miller, Jr., Kewanee, Diane M. Miller, Kewanee, Sally (Ken) Ockerman, Eldridge, IA; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and six siblings, Bill Keel, Moline, David (Melissa) Keel, Kewanee, Barb (Dennis), Milan, Cheryl Barnes, Kewanee, Tammy Ringberg, Galva, Connie Weir, Kewanee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; special friend, Jerry Ainley; two grandsons, Joseph H. Milnes, Seth A. DeShane; brother, Bob Keel; sister, Charlotte Keel; and a sister-in-law, Pat.
Nancy worked as LPN at the Kewanee Hospital for many years. Nancy enjoyed crocheting blankets and playing Bingo and cards. Nancy also enjoyed spending time with her family at Shadow Lake in Geneseo camping and fishing. She enjoyed a good book and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to OSF Richard L.
