Nancy P. Peed

Nancy P. Peed, 69, of Kewanee, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Arcadia Care of Toulon. Nancy was born December 21, 1955, in Kewanee, the daughter of Ralph E. and Millie Carlene (Schultz) Peed. Nancy attended Kewanee High School, she graduated with the class of 1974. She also attended Riverside Community College in Riverside, CA studying Administrative Justice.

Nancy is survived by four children, Erin (Matthew) Robinson, Los Angeles, CA, Magen (Lino) Molloy, Montana, Michael (Ashley) Molloy, Boise, ID, Daniel (Randi) Molloy, Kewanee; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Mitchell) Wieser, Kevin Fischbach, Carla Garcia-Robinson, Jesse Garcia-Robinson, Kennedy Molloy; two great grandchildren, Everly Wieser, Bryer Fischbach; and four siblings, Kathy (Lee) Smith, Woodhull, Sandy (Laura) Peed, Kewanee, Sue VanDeRostyne, Oak Hill, FL, Elaine (Patrick) Barnes, Edgewater, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother-in-law, Mark VanDeRostyne.

Nancy worked as a paralegal in Riverside, CA and as an investigator at the county; retiring in 2011. Nancy enjoyed baking, horses and watching movies. Nancy also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Pastor Andrew Christman will officiate. A Private burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, for an education fund for her grandchildren.
