Olga S. Larson

Olga S. Larson, 91, died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Olga was born October 31, 1929 in Kewanee, the daughter of Esper and Mary (Saad) Haddad. Married Lawrence "Larry" F. Larson on June 29, 1957; he preceded her in death on October 22, 2015.Olga is survived by two children, Gregg Larson, Kewanee, Teri (Mats) Jonmarker, Kewanee; and six grandchildren Hilary Larson, Houston, TX, Jerod (Sarah) Larson, Rock Island, Brenna Larson, College Station, TX, Natalie Jonmarker, Kewanee, Lauren Jonmarker, Chicago, Noah Jonmarker. Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; and three sisters, Alice Haddad, Budelia "Bud" Stivers, Edna DeMorest.Olga was a homemaker and a waitress at Andris Wanee Farm for many years. Olga was a member of St. John Paul II Parish. She was a wonderful cook and baker; everyone especially loved her baklava. Olga enjoyed going to the boat and eating out with Larry. She enjoyed taking her family shopping; family was her life. She was a very loving mother and grandmother; always wanting to take care of everyone else.A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Saint John Paul II Catholic Church, live stream will be on the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home Facebook page. Father Johndamaseni Zilimu will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, February 19, 2021 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home, a rosary service will be at 6:45 pm, Friday, February 19, 2021. Masks are required, please observe social distancing guidelines. Memorials may be made to Saint John Paul II Catholic Church.
