Patricia Earley

Patricia A. Earley, 90, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Prairie Pointe Memory Care and Assisted Living, Sugar Grove. Patricia was born February 28, 1933, in Kewanee, the daughter of Rene and Helen (Kursock) Kirkhove. She attended Kewanee Schools, graduating with the class of 1950. Patricia married Thomas A. Earley, Sr., on March 31, 1951, in Kewanee; he preceded her in death on February 9, 2015.

Patricia is survived by three children, Thomas (Nancy) Earley, Jr., Chillicothe, Pamela (David) Fuller, Davenport, Alice Cardenas, Yorkville; four grandchildren, Melissa (Chase) Farmer, Chillicothe, Michelle (James Colin) Fennell, Chillicothe, Dr. Sal Cardenas, Aurora, Alyssa (Alejandro) Cardenas-Ventura, Big Rock, IL; and two great-grandchildren, Eliza Farmer and Cillian Fennell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Debra; and a brother, John Kirkhove.

Patricia worked as a bookkeeper for Walworth and as a nurse’s aide & later a certified central service technician at Kewanee Hospital. She was a member of Saint John Paul II Parish. She enjoyed flower gardening, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and sewing. Patricia was a great cook, she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Deacon Martin VanMeltebeck will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Light House Hospice, 2807 Centre Circle, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
