Patricia "Pat" Voels

Patricia "Pat" Voels, 90, of Neponset, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her home. Pat was born March 15, 1931, the daughter of Frank and Mildred Johnson. Pat married Donald Voels on March 16, 1950, in Kewanee, he preceded her in death on September 18, 2008. Pat is survived by two children, Cindy Holton, Neponset, Mark Voels, Neponset; grandchildren, Matthew (Emily) Holton, Heather Holton, Trisha (Ellis) Ericson, Nikki (Mike) Wealer; nine great grandchildren, Nichole, Gage, Steven, Hope, Hayden, Beau, Wyatt, Whitney, Hannah; and two great-great grandchildren, Braelynn, Paislee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Roxanne Stone; son in law, Wayne Holton; and daughter in law, Judy Voels. Pat was a homemaker. Pat enjoyed flowers, gardening, and needlepoint. She liked baking birthday cakes for the grandchildren. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, May 20, 2022, at Red's Bar and Grill, Sheffield. Burial will be in West Neponset Cemetery at a later date.
