Paul L. Slusser, Sr.

Paul L. Slusser, Sr., 68, of Kewanee, died Thursday, February 1, 2024, at his home. Paul was born January 7, 1956, in Kewanee, the son of Robert M. and Albina Mary (Ziles) Slusser. He married Vicky Parr, on March 29, 1980, in Cambridge; she survives.

Paul is also survived by one son, Paul (Julia) Slusser, Jr., Cambridge; three granddaughters, Anna, Addison, and Averie; three siblings, Gayle Slusser, AZ, Phil (Rita) Slusser, Sr., Kewanee, Patrick Slusser, Kewanee; numerous nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Christopher Slusser.

Paul worked as a maintenance mechanic for Galva Foundry. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed camping at Hook & Bullet during his younger years. Paul loved time with his family; especially his granddaughters.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be at 6:00 pm, Friday, February 9, 2024, at the funeral home.
