Phyllis L. Anderson

Phyllis L. Anderson, 84, of Kewanee, formerly of Morris, Illinois, died Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Courtyard Estates. Phyllis was born January 25, 1937, in Morris, Illinois, the daughter of Horace H. and Thelma L. (Carlson) Harrod. She graduated from Morris Community High School with the class of 1955. She married Bryce D. Anderson on March 14, 1983; he survives.Phyllis is also survived by one daughter, Cheryl Lynes, Kewanee; one son, David (Candi) Lynes, Kewanee; four grandchildren, Devon (Brittany) Gentry, Kirstyn Lynes, Cassidy Lynes, Isaac Lynes; two great grandchildren, Corbin Gentry and Rylynn Gentry; and one brother, Douglas Harrod. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Harrod; and infant son, Daniel.Phyllis was an accountant for Grundy County Health Department. She enjoyed shopping on the weekends, dining out and gardening. Phyllis enjoyed her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morris. Private graveside services for immediate family will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Morris. Pastor Tyrone Baker will officiate.
