Richard Housh

Toulon- Richard A. Housh,70, of Toulon, passed away, Sunday, February 22, 2026, at home with his wife by
his side.

Richard was born February 26, 1955, in Kewanee, the son of Eddie J. and Judith A. (Foltz) Housh. He attended
Cambridge High School and graduated with the class of 1973, and then attended Black Hawk College.
He married Linda L. Nicholson on January 3, 1974, in Cambridge, IL, she survives.

Richard is also survived by his daughter, Patricia Beth Ryann (Josh) Herget, Anacotes, WA; one granddaughter,
Arianna Herget, Anacotes, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son in infancy, Jonthan Lee; and
one grandson in infancy, Tristan Herget.

Richard loved mushroom hunting, turtle fishing, and refinishing old furniture. He also loved collecting antique
toasters and old radios. Richards favorite pastime was sitting on his porch swing smoking cigarettes and
drinking a beer while listening to the radio.

Following with Richards wishes, cremation will be accorded and there will be no services at this time.
