Obituary

Rick A. Mugrage, 58, of Kewanee, died Sunday, February 12, 2023, at his home. Rick was born November 29, 1964, in Kewanee, the son of Charlene Mugrage, she survives.

Rick is also survived by one son, Colton (Madi) Mugrage, Macomb; sister, Sherry Mugrage, Geneseo; niece, Felicia (Brian) Tegeler, Erie, IL; aunts, Cheryl Roper, Kewanee, Lu Scott, Kewanee; uncles, Leonard (Sherry) Scott, Kewanee, Bernie (Jeanne) Scott, Simpsonville, SC, and Dennis (Deirdre) Scott, Kewanee; and numerous cousins. Rick was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Mugrage; maternal grandmother, Darlene Scott; uncles and aunt, Leland (Liz), Steven, Ron, Jerry, and David Scott; and several cousins.

Rick worked as a contractor. Rick was a Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, country and rock music. He loved his dogs. Rick also loved his family, especially his son.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, at Galva Cemetery. Rick’s cousin, Shane Scott will officiate.
