Robert "Bob" Washburn

Robert "Bob" Washburn, 52, of Kewanee, died Thursday, February 3, 2022, at his residence. Bob was born October 20, 1969, in Morrison, Illinois, the son of Bill and Kathleen (Holland) Washburn. He married Barbara Harland on April 24, 1987, they later divorced.Bob is survived one son, Robert Washburn; one daughter, Lacey (Felipe) Rios; three grandchildren, Liliana, Michael and Jayden Rios; two brothers, Bill (RaNae) Washburn; Brian Washburn, all of Kewanee; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, William and Christine Washburn; maternal grandparents, Ted and Helen Holland; and uncles, Bob and Dave Washburn. Bob served in the United States Army. He worked as a self-employed mechanic, carpenter, and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed fishing and camping along the Green River, restoring cars, and tattoos. He was an artist and loved Elvis. Bob loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Cremation Rites will be accorded following the visitation. There will be a private family burial at a later date with Military Rites accorded by the Kewanee Veterans Council. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
