Roger D. Brown, 59, of Kewanee, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at his residence. He was born on October 31, 1963, in Greenville, South Carolina to James and Roberta (Moore) Brown. He married Roberta Wilson on June 11, 2005, in Lake Wales, Florida.
Surviving are his daughters, Juanita (Jamie Lemay) Brown, of Grand Junction, MI, and Mackenzie (Danny) Lemay, of Kewanee; four grandkids, Alexis Lemay, Lilian Lemay, Hunter Lemay, and Joseph Lemay; a brother, Danny Brown; a sister, Teresa Estada; mother-in-law, Linda Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, James and Roberta; father-in-law, Cliff; wife, Roberta; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Jim & Tim Brown.
Roger was in the U.S Army from 1985 to 2000 and was a jack of all trades working different jobs like cooking, painting, mechanical, artillery, and paramedic. He worked at Mountain Lake Corporation in Lake Wales, Florida. Roger loved to go fishing and would go to the beach for deep sea fishing. He appreciated automobiles with Ford and Mustang being his favorite brand of cars. Roger spent his free time watching football and NASCAR. Roger’s family was his entire world; he loved playing with grandkids, especially his “little buddy,” Hunter, and his teacup chihuahua, Molly.
