Ronald E. Gillam

Toulon – Ronald E. Gillam, 65, of Toulon, passed away at 11:34 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his residence. Ron was born on July 3, 1960, in Kewanee, to E. Ray and Jessie (Phillips) Gillam.

He is survived by one brother, James R. Gillam of Toulon; one sister, Lori Gillam of Toulon; one niece; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ron enjoyed the simple things in life. He spent time fishing and had a good-hearted nature. He would do anything to help someone in need. Ron recently retired from Midstate in Galesburg. He also worked at Great Dane in Kewanee for many years, and at the former Alcoa in Princeville from 1979-2001.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Haskell Funeral and Cremation Services in Wyoming. Memorial contributions may be made to Big Tom’s Community Cats in Kewanee or the family.
