Steven Bradley Obituary

Steven C. Bradley, 76, of Moline, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 6, 1949, to Arthur and Carlena Bradley, and was the eldest of four children. He is survived by his sister, Sue Blake, and her husband, Chuck; his brother, Mike Bradley, and his wife, Jane; and was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Bradley, and his wife, Pam.

Steve was a man of many passions. He found joy and peace in the great outdoors, whether fishing in the Gulf, or searching for fossils that told stories of the earth's distant past. He lived in and loved Chassahowitzka, Florida, where he made many friends along the way. Steve also worked for Local 67, out of Tampa, Florida – Heat and Frost Insulators – at nuclear power plants, where he built lifelong friendships and earned the respect of his fellow workers. He was also an avid collector of antiques, drawn to the history and craftsmanship of the past. Above all else, Steve's greatest treasure was his family, whom he loved with all his heart and supported unconditionally.

Steve and his beloved wife, Darlene Bradley, shared a love rooted in faith, friendship, and deep affection – a partnership that was as steadfast as it was tender. Together, they built a life filled with laughter and devotion that continues to inspire their family.

He is survived by Darlene; his children, Ashley Denny and her husband Neal, and Wesley Bradley and his wife Katie; and his cherished grandchildren, Ella Bradley, Adelle Bradley, Hayden Denny, Ena Bradley, and Owen Bradley.

Steve will be remembered for his warm spirit, humor, and steadfast love. His legacy will live on in the stories he shared, the memories he created, and the family he nurtured.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Steve's memory to spend a quiet day outdoors – fishing, exploring, or simply appreciating the beauty of nature he so loved.
