Steven "Steve" Stivers Obituary

Steven “Steve” Stivers, 65, of Kewanee, died Thursday, February 29, 2024, at his home. Steve was born November 4, 1958, in Kewanee, the son of Charles M. and Budelia “Bud” (Haddad) Stivers.

Steve is survived by his cousins, Gregg Larson, and Teri (Mats) Jonmarker, all of Kewanee; Jeanne DeMorest, Fort Collins, CO, and Kevin DeMorest, Neenah, WI.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; cousin, David DeMorest; aunts, Alice Haddad, Edna (Dr. Hugh) DeMorest, and Olga (Lawrence) Larson.

Steve graduated from Kewanee High School with the class of 1976. He attended technical college in Louisville Kentucky. Steve worked for his dad at Stiver’s and Sons until his dad, Charles, retired. Steve then owned and operated Steve’s Radiator for 50+ years. Steve enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, March 15, 2024. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:45 am, to join the family in the procession to Pleasant View Cemetery. Pastor Andrew Christman will officiate.
