Susan E. Vincent

Susan E. Vincent (78), formerly of Kewanee, passed away in her home in Peoria on Sunday November 30, 2025, at 5:52 AM. She was born on January 24, 1947, in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter of Wilbur and Jessie (Hansler) Hicks. Susan married the love of her life Larry D. Vincent and spent many long and loving years together before he preceded her in death.

Susan is survived by her children, Philip Vincent, and Patricia Vincent, along with many more beloved family members. Susan is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry, and a sister Sarah.

Susan was best known for her ability to sew. She made a career of it, working as a seamstress for Proctor Endowment Nursing Home in Peoria, Illinois. Susan would make alterations to garments for residents along with hemming clothing. In her downtime she would love to sew for herself, crochet, and sit down with a good book.

Cremation will be accorded. No services are scheduled currently.
