Susan D. Gibson

Susan Gibson, age 66, of Bloomington, Illinois, died Friday, May 16, 2025, peacefully in her home.  She was born in Germany to Robert Roy and Ursula Anni (Oehland) Gibson and moved to Kewanee, Illinois after graduation in 1977.  Susan began her long-time career with Frontier and recently retired after 30 years of dedicated service.  She loved her work-driving semi trucks, Harley motorcycles, Rock n' Roll music, crafting, refurbishing antiques, collecting coins, painting and riding her Harley.  But at heart she was a rose and compassionate, giving, generous soul.

Her family includes her son, Thomas Gibson; grandchildren, Jonathan Hall and Micheal Halll; her father, (deceased) Robert Roy Gibson of Kewanee Illinois and mother, (deceased) Ursula Anni Gibson (Oehland); her brother, Robert Greg Gibson; and sister, Sandra Ann Gibson (Quitugua).  Her extended family includes cousins, Mary Joe Gibson, Matt (Lori) Gibson, her uncle, Dick and aunt, Lois of Kewanee Illinois; seven nieces and nephew; six great-nieces and nephews from Florida and Germany and a deep loving extended family.

The family is planning a private service.
