Theodore M Paxton

Theodore M. Paxton, 40, St. Petersburg, Florida, died Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Suncoast Hospice South Pinellas Care Center, Florida. Theodore was born May 26, 1982, in Rock Island, the son of Michael E. Dura and Karen L. (Wieter) Paxton. 

Theodore is survived by his father, Michael Dura, Springfield, IL; sister, Tamara Paxton Wagner, Muscatine, IA; grandmother, Evelyn Wieter, Largo, FL; aunts, Pamela (Jeffrey) Ehrhardt, Largo, FL, Kriste (Robin) Nursery, Melbourne, FL, Dawn (Timothy) Lamm, Seminole, FL; numerous cousins; and his life partner, Angel Amorose, Tampa, FL. Theodore is preceded in death by his mother, Karen L. Paxton; grandparents, Richard Wieter, Carol Maxon Oak, Leo Dura, and Shirley Pilarski; aunts, Lelani Wieter Keener and Betty Jo Wieter Werner; and an uncle, Jerry Wayne Wieter.

Theodore worked as an arborist/landscaping artist for Bay City Tree Services, Inc., St. Petersburg, Florida. He enjoyed organic farming, tennis, and the outdoors. Theodore also enjoyed spending time with his Florida family and at Grand Shores in Redington Beach.

Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 am, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Golnick-Schueneman Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the funeral home.
