Toni L. Wells

Toni L. Wells, 73, of Kewanee, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at OSF St. Luke’s Medical Center. Toni was born April 29, 1951, in Kewanee, the daughter of Jack and Janet (Pyle) Welch. She graduated from Kewanee High School. Toni married Bill J. Wells on August 24, 1968, in Kewanee; he preceded her in death on April 29, 2011.

Toni is survived by her daughter, Tina (Tim) Hulslander, Kewanee; three grandchildren, Whitney Wells, Kenzleigh Hulslander, Wyatt Hulslander; three great grandchildren, Emma, Isabelle, and Jaxon Sutton; four siblings, Jim “Rusty” (Doris) Welch, Bruce (Vivian) Welch, Edna (Marty) Greenhagen, Melissa (Nathan) Smith; and her special friend, Rusty O'Neal. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bill.

Toni worked in bookkeeping at K-Mart and volunteered as a tax accountant in Florida. She enjoyed sewing and playing bingo. Toni also enjoyed taking care of her lawn and garden. Bowling with her mom, sister and aunt was one of her favorite activities. Toni's greatest delight was spending precious time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
