Trina A. Holmes

Trina A. Holmes, 67, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Trina was born April 12, 1954 in Kewanee, the daughter of Robert D. and Lucille F. (Sullivan) Holmes. Trina was reared and educated at Kewanee Schools, graduating with the class of 1972. She attended Streator School of Beauty. Trina is survived by her mother, Lucille, Kewanee; brothers, Bob (April) Holmes, Kewanee, Cliff (Anna) Holmes, Kewanee, Steve Holmes, Cedar Rapids, IA; a nephew, Daniel Holmes; numerous other nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Chloe. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert.Trina was a licensed beautician, having worked for Danny Conner and Merle Norman. Most recently she was a receptionist at the Henry County Senior Center. She enjoyed playing golf, she golfed every Saturday at Baker Park. She was on a bowling league. She enjoyed going to the River Boat. Trina especially enjoyed family get togethers, cookouts and cooking for family holidays.Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, June 4, 2021 at Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Drane will officiate. Memorial service will also be live streamed on the Schueneman-Tumbleson Funeral Home Facebook Page. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Henry County Senior Center.
