Vivian Vranjes

Vivian Vranjes, 90, of Kewanee, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at her home. She was born on September 18, 1933, in Kewanee, Illinois, the daughter of Milan and Anna (Germanovich) Vujakovich. Vivian graduated with the class of 1952 from Kewanee High School. Vivian married Stephen Vranjes on August 10, 1957, in Lackawanna, NY; he preceded her in death on January 17, 2009.

She is survived by a brother, Nickolas Vujakovich, of Kewanee; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and fourteen siblings, two in infancy (Julika and an unnamed), Mildred Vujakovich, George Vujakovich, Lillian Manthe, Mary Vujakovich, Anna Vujakovich, Donald Vujakovich, Jeanette Ptasnik, Stella Vujakovich, Leo Vujakovich, Rosie VanDierendonck, Stina Tavares; and Joan Vujakovich.

Vivian worked as an airline stewardess for American Airlines prior to getting married. She then became a housewife. Vivian enjoyed doing word searches and watching QVC. She also enjoyed her family.
